I was in the same situation but just a few days ago, and I think for the first time in a long time playing my resto druid has bome fun again. I mean thehallenge of healing a hero without the
greatst of gear has proven to irease my allertness, and really have to spulate and fus as to where the damage isoming froman lead to some intense moments. As for the gear the fisrt Hero I ran was Nexus and
was tulay lky enough have the Me drop and subsequently on a very abrreviated Nax run I was able to pk up 10 man T7 legs. Those two additions have lifted my SP to 1500+ whh i understand is still low... but I like that, it just means i have that mh more time to enjoy healing all the other heros and if the gear dosnt drop im ok with that. I rushed everything with my mage only to diover that oe I had hieved what I was going for the fun was kinda gone. In the mean time you have the right idea with BG's and Arena's plus dailies for rep but I think Heros are the way to go
for fun, and if Gear is all your after ive seen alt's get fully ep sets in one night alt runs through Nax 10 and 25's
Honestly, it'll be hard, but itan be done. You know what you are at now, you have no unrealist exptations. Your Guildies know that you aren't quite ready for heros, but if the Tank is well geared and the dps know wtf to do, then you should be ok. Just stay on your toes and use all the skills you have available to you. I ran Hero Nexus in my level 70 t4-t5-badge gear with 1159 + spellpower before I got around to putting together my offset from tanking. The sweet part
about tanking is now my healy offset has 1559 + spellpower unbuffed :P Anyway, as long as everyone knows that you're doing it for THEM, then theyan't be anything but happy that you give it your best. You'll note
huge differees between starting at 1100 SP and getting up to 1500 SP in short order pking up some key upgrades. Make sure you wear a tabard so youan pk up rep rewards qukly as well. Good lk!
